Why do dental fees vary?

The cost of going of going to the dentist will depend on what your dentist is offering you. The level of service you receive can vary between practices. The level of service we offer is based on:

  • Qualified staff who undertake regular training to enhance and extend their dental knowledge
  • The latest in dental technology including services such as in-house imaging and same day ceramic restorations
  • A comfortable and relaxed environment so that you can look forward to visiting the dentist.

Our patients receive the highest level of care, knowledge and treatment. These high standards require regular investment in training, tools, equipment and people.

Once you have experienced our service, you will understand why a simple cost comparison between dentists does not tell the whole story.

Dental Fees and Payments

Our fees represent the quality of service we provide. While we strive to keep our costs low while maintaining an excellent level of service, we do understand that the cost of dentistry can be stressful. We have done our best to make quality dentistry affordable by offering the following financial options.

HiCAPS Payments

We can process your claim for immediate payment directly with your private health insurer. Not only is this an instant service, it also reduces out-of-pocket expenses.

Over the counter payment methods

A range of payment options are at hand to make payment as convenient as possible.

We accept cash, EFTPOS and credit cards. We request settlement of your account on the day of treatment unless other arrangements have been made.

Child Dental Benefit Schedule (CDBS)

The CDBS is a Commonwealth scheme that provides eligible families with up to $1,052 worth of basic dental services for each child aged 0–17 years. This includes dental check-ups, cleaning and scaling, digital x-rays, fillings, fissure sealing and extractions. We can help you with the claiming process.

Other funded dental schemes we support include:

Private Health Insurance

If you have private health insurance with dental extras, from any health fund, you can claim some of your fee back for a range of dental and orthodontic services we offer.

Additionally, we are a preferred provider for three major health funds:

Patients with eligible extras coverage with any of these funds can receive selected no gap dental treatments when coming to our Richmond dental clinic.

Dental Payment Plans

We offer various payment plans through SmileFund and AfterPay. Depending on the cost of your treatment and payment preferences, we can help you select the finance option that suits you best.

Cancellation Fees

Kindly provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you are unable to attend your appointment as this time could be used for another patient in need.

We are very generous in the time we set aside for our patients, and the number of highly trained staff we employ, so that we can give the best possible care to our patients. Last minute cancellations leave a serious void in our schedule. We appreciate your consideration.

Appointment fees may apply for last minute cancellations.
